WebMediaBrands Inc. launched a new e-commerce enabled website called StockLogos yesterday which allows global graphic designers to sell user-generated content (UGC) logos to companies looking for creative, high-quality and affordable logos for download. The company, whose brands include mediabistro.com and BrandsoftheWorld.com is a leading blog network which provides content, education, jobs and events for business, media, and creative professionals and is headquartered in New York, New York. StockLogos publishes creative briefs written by clients that cannot find a logo which meets their needs. A brief contains vital information regarding the client themselves and its target audience. Designers can then upload their logo and wait for approval from the client. Participants are also able to post comments on a client brief if they should have any questions or want to link to their logo page. Logos are priced ranging from $50 to $500 and are available to purchase complete ownership rights. Any logos that aren’t chosen from a brief will be returned to the logo library. “StockLogos.com is an excellent companion business to our UGC sites BrandsOfTheWorld.com and AdsOfTheWorld.com, which together have over 2 million unique visitors monthly,” said Alan M.
