The result of T-Mobile’s “Life’s for Sharing” ad campaign is now available online. The mobile company recently launched the last phase of their campaign which cumulated with the music video of a user-generated song ‘Come with me‘. The music video is from a user-generated band called Josh’s Band. Amateur musician Josh Ward used the T-Mobile offer of free texts for life to start a superband. He text all the musicians he knew, and asked them to spread the word by announcing huge jamming sessions across the UK. Participants could also use MySpace and Twitter to get in touch with Josh. The result was 1,107 band members involved in recording the song which was released recently by Universal Records as a single. Since the start of the campaign, Josh Ward gained 1,578 followers on Twitter and 120,744 views on his MySpace page with more coming every day. The ‘Come with me’ music video is just the latest in user-generated ads by T-Mobile.  The last one featured about 350 dancers descending on London Liverpool Street Station. Lysa Hardy, head of brand and communications at T-Mobile UK, says: “It’s been fantastic to see how fans have interacted with the T-Mobile brand and helped shape the direction of this campaign – which culminates in this final ad spot, celebrating the band’s incredible journey right the way through to the release of their single.”
